A search took place but thankfully it was determined that there was no other occupant involved during the accident.
A car accident in Corner Brook early yesterday morning, led to a search for a possible missing person. BOISAR was called by the RNC around 3 a.m. to a wooded area near O’Connell Drive and Lewin Parkway. RNC were concerned that a person may have been injured in the accident and wandered into the woods.
11 BOISAR members showed up with SAR Trucks, low angle rope rescue equipment, and their drone. A search took place but thankfully it was determined that there was no other occupant involved during the accident. By 5:30 a.m., members were back at headquarters with equipment reset for the next call.
