    Jimmy Rankin coming to Port aux Basques this Saturday August 1

    Lots of excitement in Port aux Basques as Canadian Country Folk Artist Jimmy Rankin will be headlining the Astrlabe Festival in the community. The concert will take place on the Port aux Basques softball field on Saturday August 1. Opening for Jimmy Rankin will be Roblo's Rock, The Jack Daniel's Band, and Lucas Kettle. Jimmy was a guest by phone on "Sunday Scoffs and Scuffs", and said he still loves entertaining and is looking forward to hitting the stage in this province.

    The gates for the Astrlabe Festival in Port aux Basques open at 6 pm this Saturday evening and tickets are on sale now through www.tickettide.ca
