A portion of Corner Brook is without water today as a water main has busted on University Drive. Water could be seen spouting upwards of a foot at the intersection with O’Connell Drive early this morning. City crews closed a section of University Drive around 7 a.m. to start repairs, and this area may be closed until this evening. Also, work on the water distribution system is taking place today on St.Mark’s Avenue and Dunfield Place. As a result, St. Marks Avenue will be closed from the intersection of Johnsons Avenue to the intersection of Premier Drive for the day.
