A driver pulled over in Corner Brook on Monday is facing charges related to intimate partner violence. RNC Cst Stephanie Myers says police stopped the 33-year-old man around 4 p.m. on Confederation Drive. Police seized the vehicle which was not insured. During the traffic stop, a female passenger told police she was assaulted by the driver the day before. After an investigation the RNC charged the man prior. Officers investigated the complaint, and arrested the male for assault, forcible confinement, and violence against an intimate partner.
