31-year-old Jordan Young has been charged with theft under $5,000, failing to comply with a probation order, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.
Bay St. George RCMP arrested a 31 year old man on Monday in relation to a theft from a liquor store in Stephenville. Police got a call from the Prince Rupert Drive business around 11:30 that morning and the suspect was identified. RCMP say Jordan Young of Kippens was located and arrested without incident but during a search, police found a knife on him. Young was charged with theft under $5,000, failing to comply with a probation order, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon. RCMP say Young is well known to police and faces a little over 40 additional outstanding Criminal Code offences.
