Staples Stuff the Backpacks big day is August 23rd

    Wendy Norton of Staples says last year the need was for 200 backpacks and this year the need is huge.

    Hard to believe that another school year is just around the corner. This time of the year, many parents are busy trying to get the necessary school supplies and some need a little extra help. This year’s Stuff the Backpacks event is scheduled to take  place at the Staples Parking lot in Corner Brook on August 23rd. Wendy Norton of Staples says last year the need was for 200 backpacks and this year the need is huge. Each business that jumps onboard to help can qualify for a chance to win a silver advertising package at Bayfm worth over $500.
