As ghosts and goblins prepare to haunt the streets this Halloween, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is encouraging parents, children, and drivers to ensure the night is all treats and no tricks. Cst James Cadigan says drivers need to slow down, avoid all distractions and keep your eyes on the road. He says parents should make sure costumes are bright and reflective and face masks do not obstruct vision. Trick-or-treaters should go with friends or an adult, and never enter a home or vehicle. Cadigan says always check treats and get rid of any that look suspicious.. The RNC is wishing everyone a wickedly wonderful night. Happy Halloween!
