Cst James Cadigan says police will have an increased presence at festivals to respond to incidents and promote public safety.
The RNC is encouraging residents to practice personal safety as they attend shows and events in the coming days and weeks. Cst James Cadigan says police will have an increased presence at festivals to respond to incidents and promote public safety. This includes Corner Brook and surrounding communities, the Avalon and Labrador West. Cadigan says it’s always best to plan ahead, have a buddy system, children should wear bright clothing, keep your phone charged and belongings safe. He says never drive impaired and always have a plan for transportation. The RNC hopes that by working together we can reduce the risks and help ensure a safe and enjoyable event experience for residents and visitors alike.
