Fisherman missing in the Bay of Islands was found dead early yesterday morning

    Bay of Islands Volunteer Search and Rescue were called in by the RNC just after 9 o’clock Monday night after reports of an overturned boat on Gillam’s Pond near Summerside.

    A fisherman missing in the Bay of Islands was found dead early yesterday morning. Bay of Islands Volunteer Search and Rescue were called in by the RNC just after 9 o’clock Monday night after reports of an overturned boat on Gillam’s Pond near Summerside. Witnesses managed to rescue one of the boat's occupants but the man was missing. 18 BOISAR  members searched the area by boat, canoe, drone, underwater camera, and thermal imaging camera. Just after 3 o’clock yesterday morning, members located the man’s body.
