Last year, 104 organizations were funded to help older people stay active, engaged and connected.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2026-27 Seniors’ Social Inclusion Initiative. The program provides funding towards the creation of social opportunities for seniors and older adults, and promotes healthy aging, mental wellness, and overall quality of life. Grants of $1,000 are available for not-for-profit organizations which serve seniors. Incorporated companies in good standing with government’s the registry of companies can apply and if not incorporated, a letter of support must be included. The deadline to apply is August 31st.
