The Trans-Canada Highway was closed for several hours and the cause of the collision is under investigation.
A 47-year-old man died at the scene of a collision between two transport trucks on the TCH near Gull Pond Bridge early yesterday morning. RCMP got the call around 2:15 a.m. and both vehicles were on fire by the time they arrived. The driver of the westbound tractor trailer was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The Trans-Canada Highway was closed for several hours and the cause of the collision is under investigation.
