The 5th Annual Jigs & Wheels summer festival is well underway in Corner Brook. The ten-day schedule kicked off this past weekend with the festival opener on Broadway. On Bayfm with Lenny Benoit, Mayor Linda Chaisson says there was something for everyone with country, rock, heavy metal and amazing vendors. This evening at the Bay of Islands Yacht Club is time to Light Up the Bay and Chaisson says this year should be bigger than last year. Light Up the Bay will take place from 6-10 p.m. at the Waterfront Marina on Pikes Avenue in Curling. This evening will include live music by Jazz West & The Griffins and Friends. The Forked Road Food Truck and NLFizz Co. – Dirty Soda Bar will also be there.
