    RNC doing more patrols and handing out tickets in construction zones in the Corner Brook region

    Fines for speeding in a construction zone have doubled and can range from $130 to $1,170

    Fines for speeding in a construction zone have doubled and can range from $130 to $1,170.The RNC have increased patrols in the Corner Brook region and handed out a number of tickets. At the construction zone on the Trans-Canada Highway between Corner Brook and the Humber Valley Resort, these tickets were for speeding and passing in a no-passing zone. Police remind drivers to reduce your speed, be patient, and courteous to site operations and other motorists.
