More than $220K in funding has been announced to support 12 projects that will advance the planning and delivery of services in French throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. This will be matched by contributions that come from a mix of community, municipal and other Government of Newfoundland and Labrador sources. This new funding has been provided through a new five-year Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Agreement on French Language Services between Canadian Heritage and the Department of Digital Government and Service NL. Ten recipients will share in the funding, including the towns of Cape St. George and Stephenville.
