Opposition Leader Tony Wakeham says he’s getting numerous phone calls and reports of slippery roads throughout the West Coast, Northern Peninsula and Central NL. Wakeham says his office has confirmed numerous equipment failures, and a shortage of equipment and operators among Transportation and Infrastructure depots. He says he has been flooded with calls about unplowed roads and treacherous driving conditions.
