Young people ages 15-30 have a chance to get free virtual pre-employment training followed by a job placement with a nonprofit organization. The Achieving Success through Community ENgagement & Development program, also known as ASCEND, is now accepting employer applications until September 4th for a fall session. Young people who are not employed, or involved in education and training, can get minimum wage-subsidized work placements in the non-profit sector.
