The 37-year-old Deer Lake man has been charged with flight from police and dangerous operation of a motor-vehicle.
An ATV driver was arrested late Thursday night after fleeing from police on the Trans-Canada Highway between Steady Brook and Corner Brook. The RNC pulled the driver over long enough to get a plate number and he took off, The ATV was later located on a trail off Confederation Drive and the driver was located nearby. The 37-year-old Deer Lake man has been charged with flight from police and dangerous operation of a motor-vehicle. He was also ticketed for driving while suspended, operating without a license, and having no insurance.
