During a three hour timeframe on Wednesday, Corner Brook RNC issued license suspensions, seized vehicles and handed out tickets. Around 8:30 p.m., a 15-year-old operating a dirt bike on Broadway Crescent was stopped. The youth and parents were issued tickets that included no insurance and a person under 16 unlawfully operating an ORV. At around 10:15 p.m., a 24-year-old man failed a roadside screening test at a checkpoint in Pasadena. His license was suspended and the vehicle was impounded. Roughly 10 minutes, at another checkpoint, a 40-year-old man also failed a roadside screening test. He too had his license suspended and vehicle seized.
