The RNC arrested a dangerous driver in Corner Brook after the 26-year-old woman fled from police when they tried to pull her over. Shortly after noon on Tuesday, she went through a stop sign on Clarence Street but took off recklessly when an officer tried to stop her. A short while later the unoccupied vehicle was found on Station Road but the RNC were able to identify the driver through security camera footage. A little more than two hours later, police arrested the woman for flight from police and dangerous operation. She was also ticketed for not having insurance and for failing to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle was seized and the woman is due to appear in court at a later date.
