Motorists are being asked to use caution while travelling on Route 431 near Trout River and Woody Point. Paving started this week and should be complete by June 30th. It’s in the area known as Trout River Gulch and which runs between the communities of Woody Point and Trout River on the south side of the park. This is the final step in the upgrades to Route 431 that were completed last year. Heavy equipment will be working in the area and travellers can expect construction slow downs and stoppages. Motorists are advised to travel with caution, obey all on-site signage and posted speed limits, and observe travel instructions from flag persons and safety personnel.
