Andrew Parsons announced just over $41,000 this week to Gros Morne Coffee Roasters through the department's Business Development Support Program.
Industry Minister Andrew Parsons says many small business owners aren’t aware the department has a Business Development Support Program. On Monday, he announced just over $41,000 under the program to Gros Morne Coffee Roasters to improve their ability to operate in the food and beverage sector. Parsons says small and medium sized businesses are the backbone of our economy. He says the Industry, Energy and Technology department deals with big companies like multinational oil companies or small, like local businesses with 2-3 employees. Through the Business Development Support Program, the Provincial Government supports small and medium-sized businesses that are committed to developing and growing their operations by improving operational productivity, focusing on trade opportunities and developing their markets.
