Here’s a chance for a trip back to 1976…Today marks exactly 50 days away from celebrating 50 years of the NL Games back to where it all began. To highlight this, there will be an unforgettable fundraising dance at the Corner Brook Civic Centre this evening. On Bayfm Councillor Donna Luther spoke about what a time this will be with music by the Mixed Tapes. Two Jays will also be at the Civic Centre and there will be door prizes, a 50/50 draw, as well as exclusive NL Games merch for sale.
Meanwhile, Luther says they still need about 200 volunteers to help with the games in August. Go to nlgames.ca for more information.
