Students heading to college or university in the fall can now apply for a student loan

    Those who receive a provincial student loan and successfully complete a full course load may also qualify for the Provincial Government’s Debt Reduction Grant Program, which can reduce or eliminate provincial student debt.

    Students planning on attending post-secondary for the 2026-27 academic year can now apply for financial assistance. Loans and non-repayable grants are available to help students pay. Those who receive a provincial student loan and successfully complete a full course load may also qualify for the Provincial Government’s Debt Reduction Grant Program, which can reduce or eliminate provincial student debt.
