    Funding announced to help 10 west coast tourism-related projects

    The provincial government also announced a total contribution of over $376K $376,145 for these projects.

    Over $1.07 million dollars has been announced for ten tourism-related projects in Western Newfoundland. Federal ACOA and Rural Economic Development Minister Gudie Hutchings made the announcement in Benoits Cove yesterday. The provincial government also announced a total contribution of over $376K $376,145 for these projects. The City of Corner Brook  will get slightly more than $400K for three projects, the town of Mt. Moriah will receive a non-repayable contribution of over $258K, Corner Brook Stream is getting more than $269K, the West Coast Cycling Association will get more than $217K, Cabox Geopark will receive $110K, Western NL DMO will receive just over $91K, The Mi’kmaw Cultural Foundation is getting more than $60K, and CB Nuit will get slightly more than $44K.
