Corner Brook council pre-empted by a junior council and Mayor for the day

    Deputy Mayor Watkins announced the Jigs and Wheels Festival is coming back.

    Corner Brook city hall’s regular public meeting last night was preempted by a Junior Council and Mayor for the day, Kenna Mangosing. These grade six students were chosen as part of a contest for Municipal Awareness Week. Councillor Benoit thanked city staff for the work they do. Deputy Mayor Watkins announced the Jigs and Wheels Festival is coming back. Mayor Mangosing signed a proclamation and asked that the meeting be adjourned.
