Councillor Charles Pender says several city streets were paved as a result of this funding, including Sunnyslope, Humber Road, Elizabeth Street and Mount Bernard.
The city of Corner Brook is required by the Canada Community Building Fund Agreement (CCBF) to show a report of how the funds are spent. At Monday night’s meeting, Councillor Pamela Gill gave an update with slightly more than $3 million remaining at the end of last year. Councillor Charles Pender says several city streets were paved as a result of this funding, including Sunnyslope, Humber Road, Elizabeth Street and Mount Bernard. The CCBF funding is a critical piece of known and dedicated capital funding for the city.
