Carnival Cruise Lines “Carnival Pride” will spend the biggest part of the day docked at the Corner Brook Port. The cruise ship docked at 9 this morning and will head out the bay at 5 p.m. Patti Ricketts is the Cruise Marketing Coordinator. She says this vessel carries over 3,000 people and is the second visit this year. Ricketts says there will be plenty of activity dockside and around the West Street area today with a vendor market , tour operators, and live music. She says one cruise ship that made its inaugural call to the port of Corner Brook made another unexpected visit recently. The Zuiderdam was here about a month ago. Since June 5th there have been 11 cruise calls to the Port of Corner Brook making this the busiest Spring/Summer season ever.
