    Busy times at the Bay of Islands Ministerial Food Bank Association

     Joy Connors says they responded to 1,260 food requests last year.

    Food banks are needed now more than ever. Joy Connors is with the Bay of Islands Ministerial Food Bank Association. She says they are extremely busy. Connors says they responded to 1,260 food requests last year. March, August and November are their busiest months of the year. She says they shop around to find the best price. Connors says donations made to the food bank will help people get through the winter months.
