    A woman is dead after a collision on the TCH near Bishop's Falls Friday evening

    The woman was driving a Dodge Ram pickup and left the eastbound lane of traffic and collided with an oncoming tractor trailer travelling westbound.

    A 41-year-old woman is dead after a collision between a pick up truck and a tractor trailer on the TCH near Bishop’s Falls. RCMP say it happened Friday evening just before 7 p.m. The woman was driving a Dodge Ram pickup and left the eastbound lane of traffic and collided with an oncoming tractor trailer travelling westbound. The passenger of the pickup truck was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.  The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured but taken to the hospital for medical assessment.
