70 year old man picked up 9 a.m. yesterday for impaired driving in Stephenville

    At the detachment, the man provided further breath samples that were above the legal limit.

    A 70-year-old man was arrested for impaired driving yesterday morning in Stephenville. RCMP Traffic Services West pulled the driver over on Pleasant Avenue around 9 a.m. He showed signs of alcohol impairment and failed a roadside breath test. At the detachment, the man provided further breath samples that were above the legal limit. He was released from custody to appear in court at a later date. His licence was suspended and the vehicle was seized.
