Qalipu First Nation and the College of the North Atlantic are getting ready to host a business forum on November 18th. The “Qalipu Business Forum” will be an all day event at the CNA Corner Brook campus. On Bayfm’s “Qalipu Today,” CNA Business Development Officer Ian McDonald spoke about last year’s forum at the Stephenville campus which featured a variety of speakers and businesses. He says the theme this year centers around “sustainability” which has an economic side to it.
Russell Wall recently started in the role of Business Development Officer with Qalipu First Nation. He says business owners can learn a lot from each other. He says these forums are an opportunity to network and make face to face connections.
