• Scott King arrested after shooting a man during a break in at a home in the Curling area last night

  Last night, the RNC found a man with a gunshot wound and he was taken to hospital but his injury is not believed to be life threatening.

• Pair stopped in Isle aux Morts this past weekend found with cocaine and cannabis

  The 22-year-old woman and 30-year-old man were stopped on Main Street early Saturday morning.

• Marble Mountain is ahead of schedule this year; tentative opening day is January 8th

  Manager Richard Cormier says the top of the mountain is looking great with plenty of natural snow, despite an electrical issue over Christmas that slowed snowmaking operations.
