Government is working on the development of a population growth strategy and they’re looking for the public’s help. The strategy will help attract, retain and support people and families in Newfoundland and Labrador. It will focus on growth in the workforce, families, regions and in-migration. Population growth supports economic development, labour market needs, communities and long-term prosperity. People can provide feedback online through EngageNL or by emailing PopulationGrowth@gov.nl.ca until October 11th. Questionnaires will be sent to local and municipal governments, Indigenous governments and organizations, and employers.
