The Pasadena Lions and Leos will be hosting an open house later this week to give people a chance to find out what they do. It will take place at the Lions Club this Thursday ( September 24th) from 7-8:30 p.m. Shelley Allen is the Marketing Coordinator and says they have various projects and fundraisers to help the community. She says one thing they did was clean up a rest stop on the TCH and they collected 16 big bags of garbage.
Allen says they sponsor a number of groups such as the Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, Cadets and are trying to get their own youth groups running this year.
Allen says there’s no pressure to join and everyone is welcome.
