Channel-Port aux Basques RCMP are looking for information after a resident heard someone calling out around midnight Sunday. Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says it was in the area of Pleasant St, near the Government Wharf. Officers conducted patrols of the area, and did not locate any people or suspicious activity.
O’Donaghey says police also asked residents of nearby homes but could not identify the source of the incident. They’re looking for anyone with information including video surveillance from near the wharf.
