The water is back on in the town of Massey Drive after a water main broke around midnight on Sunday. It happened in an area at the bottom of the entrance to the town, which was closed to traffic until supper hour yesterday. Elizabeth Chaulk is the town Manager and says their Public Works team and staff from the city of Corner Brook were on the scene within 15 minutes, and worked on it throughout yesterday. She says waterlines underground can take quite a beating over time and the pressure there is very high leading to a crack in the pipe.The Town has issued a boil water advisory until further notice.
