With the warm temperatures and the long-awaited welcome to summer, some people aren’t thinking about snow….but the Western Sno-Riders group, their passion for winter fun continues all year. This past Friday, Club President Glenn Green spoke about the day’s event to officially name the bridge and open Phase 1 of their trail project that will connect Corner Brook to Pasadena. The 80 foot bridge is named in honor of their groomer operator Warren Hann
Green says the bulk of the work is done with some finish work left to do. He says they started grooming the trails 25 years ago and as trails got better, so did sales and dealers noticed increased buyers of side by sides and snowmobiles.
Friday’s event was funded by the International Snowmobile Manufacturers Association.
