The project includes drilling a maximum of 20 locations within 200 metres of the river.
A drilling project that will involve upwards of twenty locations near the Isle aux Morts River has been given the green light by government. AuMEGA Metals Ltd. plans to do some exploration drilling adjacent to the river located northwest of the town of Isle aux Morts. The project includes drilling a maximum of 20 locations within 200 metres of the river. No drill sites would be situated within 50 metres of the highwater mark. Drilling activities would occur intermittently, year-round, with each drill hole expected to take two to four days to complete. Access to the drill sites would be by helicopter or via existing access trails, thereby avoiding the need to ford the river.
