Grant applications are now being accepted as government has announced its third annual Well-Being Week will take place from September 21st to the 28th. Community-based organizations are invited to take part in Well-Being Week 2025. Groups are encouraged to submit an application to host events. Grants of up to $1,000 per group are available. To qualify, the event must align with the objectives and take place during Well-Being Week. The deadline for applications is June 6th. Successful applicants will be notified by June 20th and must submit final event details by August 20th. Applications must be submitted on WellbeingNL.ca. Premier Andrew Furey says “together, we can create lasting change across Newfoundland and Labrador and move closer to becoming Canada’s healthiest province by 2031.”
