    Comments are being accepted on the replacement of the Humber River Ballam bridge

    The project includes the demolition and removal of the existing bridge and the construction of a new, permanent bridge.

    The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is getting ready to replace the  old and deteriorated Humber River Ballam bridge. It’s located on Route 440 in Corner Brook. The project includes the demolition and removal of the existing bridge and the construction of a new, permanent bridge. Plans were submitted to the Environment Department on Friday (August 7), the deadline for public comments is September 11th and the Environment minister’s decision is due by September 21st. Comments may be sent to: EAProjectComments@gov.nl.ca.
