The Graham Academy is the performance arts training division of CamberArts, which was  formerly Gros Morne Summer Music. Tomorrow night is sold out as they close one of their summer shows,” Railway Ties.”  On Bayfm, Mike Payne says the location is the Historic Train Museum on Riverside Drive and the audience is taken on a tour of the Newfie Bullet.

Katie Ann Colbourne is a third year university student and while she’s been with Graham Academy for a couple of years, it’s her  first time doing summer theatre. Colbourne has never been on a train in NL, and says she learned a lot the history of the Newfie Bullet, the cross-island train that made its last run on the tracks in 1969.

Colbourne and Payne also held roles in the show, “Outport Echoes,” and Payne says it’s a group of friends sitting around playing and singing songs, just like a “kitchen party.”

“Outport Echoes” will take to the stage for their close out performance on Thursday night.
