  Outreach Coordinator Lynn Howse says most of the batteries they are getting are from cell phones and the ends should be covered with tape before recycling at a transfer station, where they will be kept in fire safe bins.

• Gingerbread House at Valley Mall has delivered over 107,000 gifts for children since starting in 1982

  Last year, 353 toy hampers were handed out to people in the Corner Brook and Bay of Islands area and all gifts donated at the Gingerbread House stay in the community.
