The Volendam docks for the first time in Corner Brook

    The Holland America Lines ship carries over 1400 passengers and more than 600 crew.

    Corner Brook is welcoming a second cruise ship visit this week and both vessels are making their first call to port. The Volendam  docked around 10 this morning. The Holland America Lines ship carries over 1400 passengers and more than 600 crew. Mayor Jim Parsons joined Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit this morning to talk about the visits. He says it’s a beautiful day and the alternative could be much worse and everyone should try to stay cool. The Volendam is due to leave port at 6 o’clock.
