The minimum wage is going up to $15.60 per hour starting April 1st

    This is a $0.60 an hour increase with last October’s bump of $0.50 an hour. 

    The minimum wage in this province is going up. On April 1st, the minimum wage will be $15.60 per hour. The minimum overtime wage rate will increase to $23.40. This increase is required under the Labour Standards Regulations and is based on the percentage change in the National Consumer Price Index. This is a $0.60 an hour increase with last October’s bump of $0.50 an hour.
