The city of Corner Brook is looking for trail designers

• NL Summer Games will be here in Corner Brook and Stephenville in 12 days time

  Mayor Linda Chaisson says thousands of people will be here and in Stephenville including 1800 athletes along with about 2000 family members.

• Applications being accepted until the end of August for grants through the Seniors’ Social Inclusion Initiative

  Last year, 104 organizations were funded to help older people stay active, engaged and connected.

  More than $93K is going towards upgrades to Fifth Avenue in Humber Arm South. Work will include roadside stormwater infrastructure,  installation of pipe culverts and the resurfacing of asphalt.

• Corner Brook council approves $50K contract to update the city's wastewater strategic plan

  Since CBCL completed the plan in 2017, it has not been updated.
