    Rug Hooking Guild of NL holding open house

    Well known artist Corner Brook artist Jackie Alcock has a show on now at the Arts and Culture Centre, It Features about 50 of her rug hooking projects.

    Well known artist Corner Brook artist Jackie Alcock has a show on now at the Arts and Culture Centre. It features about 50 of her rug hooking projects. Alcock says everything has a story behind it.

    The show will run for the rest of August and all of September. Alcock says she has about 200 rugs to display throughout the show. She says her Mermaid is from a dark side of her life.

    Alcock's work will also be on display this weekend at the Rug Hooking Guild of Newfoundland and Labrador's open house Saturday at Grenfell Campus.
