Registration for the spring 2025 Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) workshop will open tomorrow, April 2nd. To give first-time participants an opportunity to register, priority will be given to new applicants who apply to register between April 2-4th. This year’s event will be held at Burry Heights on Salmonier Line from May 23-25. It’s an opportunity for women to learn skills that enhance and encourage participation in outdoor activities. Qualified volunteer instructors and staff from the Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture conduct a variety of courses with an aim to ensure all participants enjoy a safe, positive, fun and educational experience.
