Shane White of Benoit's Cove wanted for armed robbery was arrested in Bay St. George

    White is wanted in relation to a number of charges including robbery, robbery with the use of a firearm, extortion with a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, failure to attend court – two counts and failure to comply with a condition of a release order – eight counts

    UPDATE: Shane White was arrested by Bay St. George RCMP at a residence in Spruce Brook on January 9, 2025.

     

    EARLIER STORY: Deer Lake RCMP and the Corner Brook RNC are looking to arrest 39-year-old Shane Roderick White of Benoit’s Cove, who is actively evading police. White is wanted in relation to a number of charges including robbery, robbery with the use of a firearm, extortion with a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, failure to attend court – two counts and failure to comply with a condition of a release order – eight counts
