Radiothon continues on Bayfm this afternoon until 5 pm. This year’s case for support is around $600,000 to purchase 5 pieces of medical equipment through the Western Regional Hospital Foundation. Board member Dr. Tony Tavenor says this new equipment will be portable and easy to move to the new hospital next year. He  says they’re looking to buy a couple of Real Ear Systems. One of the big ticket items on the wish list is High Fidelity Simulation Manikins. Tavenor says the last time they bought something similar was thirty years ago to help nursing students.

The number to call in a pledge for the Western Regional Hospital Foundation Radiothon is 709-634-2322. Drop by today to say hello and make a donation.
