Newfoundland and Labrador is anticipating more than 79,000 job openings within the next decade.
Premier Andrew Furey will be speak at a special job fair taking place tomorrow (Thursday, September 21) in Fort McMurray, Alberta. It gets underway at 4pm. Furey will be joined by provincial employers eager to convince skilled workers the time is right to live and work in this province. Newfoundland and Labrador is anticipating more than 79,000 job openings within the next decade. Most of these jobs will be in skilled trades, transportation and equipment operation, as well as sales and service.
